The coffees were perfect! The food was good. My friend had a breakfast sandwich which looked delicious. I got swept away by the name and ordered the “sexy grits”. These were not actually very sexy. Pretty unattractive and the tofu had a texture I didn’t care for. These were a vegan option, which I am not opposed to but the texture of the grits were kind of paste like and the tofu wasnt very firm and god soggy during eating it. These atomophere is great! I am always happier around books and there were so many fun choices on multiple floors.
Cafe - drinks and food were great Bathroom - 0 stars, very dirty Bookstore - definitely grab a map. The pricing of books seemed over complicated and the shelving/organization seemed chaotic at best. Staff- all seemed friendly and liked their jobs
Such a cute and cozy bookstore and coffee shop! Ate here while visiting for lunch and the staff was so kind and the service was very fast for how busy they were. I got the jerk wrap and a rose Italian soda. Delicious!
Pretty bummed that the same place I was able to buy book of poetry by Gwendolyn Brooks today, that features a book about disability justice on one of their front desks, kicked a homeless person off their porch. Iced matcha was good, croissant sandwich had way way too much cranberry chutney. Stop assuming all your customers are anti-homeless.
Great selection and well organized!! Huge book store with old and new!
