Nice little neighborhood park. Easy to get to but parking is limited. Seems to have been updated with newer play area and benches. Nice Pavillion for birthday parties or a family gathering. Plenty of area to sit while your kids play. Park was clean and well kept.
If you’ve ever thought, “Wow, I wish my kids could enjoy a playground with the soothing soundtrack of street traffic, grown men day-drinking, and the faint aroma of marijuana,” this is the place for you. Bonus points for the roaming off-leash dogs—pit bulls, of course, because what else would you expect in this neighborhood? No shade, trash everywhere… truly another Arlington treasure.
The park is nice since it has been fixed. The bums however think they live there. We took our grand daughter there today and a drink guy was sleeping on the table, beer cans setting around. I sure don't want to let them go up there without me with them!!!!!
Well maintained equipment. Could use some benches on the shady side of playground. Creepy older guy with no children sitting under the covered picnic area. No parking area.
The park itself is nice and semi clean. It is fenced. Part of the fence was broken. There were no other kids there while we were there but several older men showed up, at least one possibly homeless, and stayed there talking making my friend and I uncomfortable seeing as they had no children with them. They stayed at the park for the remainder of the time we were there which was about 30 to 45 min. For a children's park, there should be signs or such to let people know that if you are not there with a child, you should not be within the fenced section of the park. With everything that is going on nowadays, parents and guardians should have some semblance of safety in some areas.
