  I was told the appointment was going to take 20 minutes. After an hour & a half I stepped out the office & asked if someone was going to see me because I was supposed to be at work an hour ago. After another 10 or so minutes the doctor came in. I told her the type of birth control I needed, that I have been on for years. I recently lost my coverage which is why I was at this clinic. She said no problem. She would call it in and give me 6 months. I said great & went to work. Days later it still wasn't called in. So I had to keep calling & leaving messages with the nurse, talking to the after hours people. They say your messages would be returned in 24 hours. That's a lie. The after hours guy said he left a note for the people & it would be done. That was a lie. I was supposed to start taking my medicine the Sunday before I went in that Monday. They knew the urgency. She even told me that when I picked up that same day to take double. Now it's over a week later & I'm still leaving messages begging for my birth control. Eventually a nurse does call me back. She was nice, says they're getting some other prescriber to fill it. Now every time I spoke to anyone, I made it clear the importance of being on the same medicine. I would say the name of the medicine multiple times & slow. They said it was clear & it would be the same. But when I finally did get it filled (almost 2 weeks later)They sent the wrong prescription! And only for 2 months even though I wasn't supposed to come back for 6. So now it's a full 2 weeks later & I've still yet to receive my correct birth control. I called & left a message explaining what happened days ago. Never got a call back. Never got the prescription called in. I just called & left another message today. This is completely unprofessional! I bet any amount of money they immediately billed my family planning though, even though I've yet to receive correct service or prescription! I have never in my 40 years on this earth dealt with anything like this before. And in a place of "health & business" at that?! I just don't understand how they can't complete a simple task... repetitively messing it up. Thank God it's not a prescription that I rely on to live. But my body IS suffering because of this ignorance. I take to regulate. Playing with your body & its hormones levels, especially at my age, has a negative effect on your body chemistry (common sense, right?). My shit is all out of whack because of this! Do they care? No, apparently they can't be bothered.
