I am extremely disappointed with Dr. Cecilia House and her office. I have been seeing her for a year for my thyroid condition and had very complete lab work done in August. Despite the thorough labs and the fact that I was clearly still not feeling well, she essentially told me to do nothing, eat healthy and we will repeat them in a year, I continued feeling awful until I sought out a functional doctor who actually supported me, addressed my symptoms, and helped me feel better. On top of that, the way prescriptions are handled is unacceptable. Every time I need a refill for my thyroid medication, she requires an appointment. This ends up being every three months. In November, I was explicitly told I would receive a six month prescription and would not need to be seen again until May. However, when I went to the pharmacy, I only received 30 day refills for three months. Now that those refills are gone, I have four pills left and no prescription. I contacted the office twice. I was told I would receive a call back yesterday, which never happened. I called again this morning and was told the doctor is refusing to refill my medication. No temporary supply was offered, not even a two week refill to allow time to schedule an appointment and get labs done. Leaving a patient without thyroid medication is dangerous and irresponsible. Policies that change without notice and lack of communication from the office are unacceptable. I understand follow ups every six months, but every three months is excessive, and I have never had a doctor who would leave a patient without medication under these circumstances. This has been a very stressful and disappointing experience, based on my personal experience I would not recommend this provider.
I've had a rough time with Dr's in the past so I always have terrible anxiety when I start with a new Dr. From the minute I walked in the door to their office I was welcomed with such warm and caring staff. The whole front office staff are all so nice and caring. The nurse was also very sweet and caring. When Dr House came into the room I immediately felt at ease and felt I could discuss everything I needed to without being judged harshly. It's been quite some time since I've been to the Dr and I have quite a few things that need to be dealt with and Dr House handled it all with nothing but but care and concern. She is absolutely amazing about keeping in touch thru the patient portal as well. They also have a lab in their office which is very convenient and the lab tech was so sweet too. Ive never been to a Dr who has a whole office staff who is so kind and caring!!!
Dr. Cecília is truly an exceptional doctor. Every consultation I’ve had with her has been wonderful. She is always attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly knowledgeable. I always leave feeling supported, understood, and more confident in my health decisions. Dr. Cecília consistently takes the time to listen carefully and explain things in a clear and compassionate way. She’s helped me navigate important treatment choices with a level of care and professionalism that is rare to find. I’m so grateful to have her as my doctor. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for expert care combined with genuine kindness and dedication.
My two daughters and I chose Dr. House for our primary several months ago. Every interaction with her office has been wonderful. Booking an appointment online is so easy and the office staff was very friendly and accommodating during each visit. Do. House is phenomenal! She never rushes me and always has time for my concerns and questions. I'm extremely happy knowing that Dr. House is taking care of me and my girls.
This was my first appointment with Dr.House. She instantly made me feel at ease and comfortable. She was very caring and listened to all my concerns! I’m looking forward to being her patient.
