This place is absolutely amazing and has great staff. We sat at the bar because we didn't have a reservation and I wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else. The food is so so good!! Drinks are top shelf as well and it's in downtown St. Augustine.
The seafood chowder was a nice starter, the ceviche was very bright and flavorful, and the scallops were cooked to perfection and the finishing salt on them was the perfect accompaniment. But to me the thing that stuck out the most was the beach bum mocktail, never knew that the flavor coconut water could be enhanced that way
The Rockefeller Crusted Snapper was done very well, delicious! My Catch Beurre Blanc (GF) flounder, since I can't have any oil or fat was okay, the brocollini was actually plain broccoli with no seasoning, the coconut rice was gummy. The corn bread was so superb that I ordered a loaf to go, the blackberry sauce with it took it to another level entirely, even without butter (for me).
The best service we have received in this town. They’re so thoughtful, we celebrated our anniversary and the service was phenomenal. The appetizer and the main entree were amazing! 10/10
Catch 27 was very nice, and a reservation is essential. The outdoor seating is beautiful, though watch the weather—it rains hard here. We had the salad, ceviche, and ravioli, and all three were enjoyable. Our server, Joshua, was super nice and helped us improvise a seat under the balcony when the rain moved in. I would definitely go back and try the main entrees next time.
