1. Both shower and sink take 20 minutes for the water to be warm 2. Once the shower starts, it sounds like a machine gun firing 3. The AC in the room barely holds it cool 4. There's no fridge 5. The drinking water from the station by the pool and in the gym is warm and unfortunately does not get cold 6. There's no exhaust fan in the bathroom 7. Construction starts at 9am; I only received notice regarding water being turned off on 7/6/26. There is a notification when booking the room however no hours of construction listed 8. Gym equipment is outdated and also needs maintenance 9. The drain in the shower and sink take several minutes to drain The claim that this is a 4-star hotel is a far cry from accurate. If anyone were to look for a 4-star hotel in St. Augustine, one is better off staying at the Hilton or Renaissance especially at this price point. This review garners at least an additional star given its location within the city. The proximity to restaurants and to "things to do" make it a convenient stay. The service is fine... it's nothing special or to rave about. It is the same service I would expect at any hotel regardless of star rating.

I really love this property...but as a titanium member im usually offered early check in. Oh, we got here at eleven a m with no rush. Assuming the rooms would be available later. One of two rooms was available right away. I was told the second room would be ready sometime after one. We showed up at ten after 4 to be told the room was still not ready. Carefully what you agree to at the front desk. Instead of compensation, we were offered forty dollars in food and beverage credits for the delay. I understand this if you're a random guest at one of their hotels. But if you're six nights away from ambassador status, I would assume they would make a little bit more effort to have your room ready on time. I would recommend staying down. The street service is better at the Renaissance.

Trey and Aniya greeted us at the front desk at Casa Monica in St. Augustine and they were so friendly and welcoming! Trey’s enthusiasm and Aniya’s kindness really stood out making everything easy and accommodating. We’re in one of the remodeled, brand-new rooms and it is unreal! We feel very special staying here and we couldn’t be happier with the whole experience! We had in-room dining at Casa Monica and it was wonderful! Lysandra delivered our food and was so sweet, friendly and polite. She made sure we had everything we needed and was just a pleasure to meet. The food arrived quickly and was delicious! We really enjoyed meeting Lysandra!

Great location in the middle of all the history and fun. Nardia checked us in and offered beverages. She was professional and friendly. She even saw me the next day and asked how my room and night were. Very personal and kind service. The pool area was very clean and stocked with towels. Drinks arrived quickly and with a smile. I would say that more attention should be given to removing soiled dishes and glasses from the hallways. My only complaint really. Beautiful hotel.
