Just spent a fantastic weekend in the city and Casa De Solana had the perfect accommodations. Room was spacious and clean, the sheets were soft, and you could almost say there were too many pillows to choose from. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and Oliver was the best host. We met some other very nice couples during the social/breakfast, and overall everyone was very nice and welcoming. Yes, parking is not the best as you do have to walk a couple blocks to their designated parking. However, the BnB is situated very close to downtown and everything is pretty walkable in the city. I would not recommend this hotel if you require mobility assistance. However, if you're ok with a little cardio, then I would absolutely recommend staying here. We will be back!
I had never stayed at a BnB before, and I have to say that this one raised the bar very high. . . It will be difficult to ever be more satisfied by others. The service was friendly and superior to motels far. The breakfast was superb and there were complimentary beverages and cookies provided 24/7. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and I especially loved the courtyard and flowers. We cannot wait to go back, and would have stayed another day if there had been availability. Thank you for a lovely experience all round. ❤️
Excellent bed and breakfast experience. Patio area located on one of the oldest streets in town. Owners were extremely friendly making us feel at home. Breakfast was superb. Rooms are cozy and if you are into the supernatural, may spark your interest
Had an amazing experience for 3 nights at the Casa de Solana. The British suite was very nice, the 2 course breakfast was different every morning and did not disappoint. The only minor complaint I have is the internet speed, it was impossible to stream a movie in our room. A fair warning is that this is not the place to stay if you have mobility problems or are otherwise handicapped. The parking situation requires a 4 block walk on uneven brick historical streets.
What a charming location! Close to all the sights in St Augustine with excellent restaurant within walking distance. The accommodations are quaint, clean, comfortable and functional. Overall very relaxing. I was not expecting much for the breakfast part, but it ended up being one of the many highlights. Service was impeccable. We will definitely return.
