On March 12, my daughter Roneisha hosted her 36th birthday celebration at the Dunn Avenue location in Jacksonville with 50+ guests and attendance throughout the event. The experience was exceptional from start to finish. The restaurant was clean the food fresh and the service provided by the manager Dalton and his team members, Mia, KaMya, and LeNai was truly outstanding. Their professionalism and hospitality made our experience memorable for everyone involved. What made this experience even more meaning for my daughter ongoing connection and loyalty to this location after the restaurant temporary closed . she was an active advocate for finding out when it would be reopening and had continued to support the business ever since .during her birthday celebration. The team went above and beyond to recognize her which speaks volume about the relationship she has built within this location and others ., I asked the manager if he would post her name and birthdate on the sign which brought great attention to that location on that night, I would formally like to suggest that Captain D’s consider, recognizing both the exceptional team and my daughter for the dedication and community spirit. I also believe that there’s a valuable opportunity to explore her potential as a brand ambassador. I would also like to propose the idea of bringing back a birthday club, or monthly hosting of a community celebration event for senior center, special need individuals. There is a strong interest and potential for this type of initiative to increase traffic, build customers, loyalty, and create memorable experiences for families in the community. We truly appreciate the dedication of the Dunn Avenue location a their team and look forward to seeing all of the great things ahead for this location and future Brand Ambassador, my daughter Roneisha
Great customer service in the drive-through. The girl was wonderful was very responsive. Easy to speak to asked if I needed anything. It was persistent on the wait at the time and even gave me suggestions with no problem.
It has been hit or miss with the food. One time my sandwhich the fish felt cold and not crispy but other times have been perfects the lady i don’t recall her name but she was so sweet she wired a night shift had red hair and was so apologetic when they ran out of sweet tea etc.
A waste of money. The food is horrible! There was no taste and the texture of the fish was weird and made me sick to my stomach. The shrimp was horrible too. I wish they go back to the food they used to serve.
I see that this location is temporarily closed. I hope management will be working on both the interior structure and staffing. My dad wanted to stop by while we were on the road. To say that no one was thoroughly cleaning inside was an understatement. I wasn't eating anything from here. There seemed to be poor communication between the staff working the register and those in the kitchen. Then you had staff who weren't on the clock per their own words, but were lounging in the dining area where customers were. The only reason I didn't take a picture is because I couldn't have done so discreetly.
