Captain D's

My mom and I had a meal here a couple of weeks ago. The service was fine but the food has changed since the last time I ate here. The main complaint we both had was that the beading was thicker than the fish I had and in my mom’s case it was thicker than her shrimp. I’ve always loved to get a nice fish and fry from here, loved the breading and those great crunches that come with it. It was disappointing.

This was the filthiest restaurant I have ever been in. Lazy workers who would rather play on their phones than wipe tables. I’ve seen dumpsters that were cleaner than the tray the guy brought our food on. I suggested to him that he might want to run it through the dishwasher. He looked at me like he had no idea what I was talking about. The only reason I didn’t walk out was because our host chose that place. The food tasted ok. That’s the only reason for 2 stars.

Today was my first day of trying out Captain D's, excellent food. I should have tried them out a long time ago. Today and through this weekend is lent, earlier I went to McDonald's for the ' Fillet of Fish ', it was gross, nasty and looked like it was dried out like it should have been thrown into the garbage, looks like the last person didn't pick up this fish sandwich and instead of McDonald's throwing it out they resold it, real nasty tasting, tasted like cardboard, you could tell it was cooked earlier because the cheese wasn't soft it was hard as a rock. I wonder why people are just staying away from these fast food restaurants?

I wouldn’t feel safe eating here again. I went back because my order was wrong at the drive-thru. I was hungry, so I took a bite out of one of the fish, then handed the plate back. The lady in the back took the other fish—the one I hadn’t bitten—and put it on someone else’s order. That’s a clear health violation. I know I’m not dirty, but it doesn’t matter. I had already driven away with the food and came back, so it should never have been reused. Other places would have either fixed the mistake or just added the missing item. I wasn’t even asking for a new order. But to take food from my plate and serve it to someone else? That’s unacceptable. I won’t be eating here again. And the food salty as hell!! I’m disgusted and disappointed
