This camp is giving my son who is non verbal autistic, one of the best weeks of his life. He's never been treated so special! He's shunned by his own relatives. Here you feel the love. They knew him after the second day by name just seeing him arriving.The staff, and all the volunteers are making it so awesome for him. They're great. We're unable to afford this sort of camp. We hit the (Special needs Lotto) for this week's program and we're so grateful to this church and Catholic Charities for providing this program! The young adults are so kind and professional with the children. They line up on their arrival greeting them every morning by name. God Bless You all!
I look forward to this every year and can’t wait until the rest of my children are old enough to be a buddy. I love this for all the families and the counselors, what an incredible opportunity for everybody!!!!
Our son has autism and he absolutely loves this camp. The young adults that run it are amazing and so good to the kids. They remember each child and spent so much time with them doing activities. This is so important because with special needs children there are no knocks on the door for an invite to the park. So this camp allows us to surround our beloved children with more people that love and care for them. I got one appreciate them and send them all our blessings.
What a special place. My daughter has an absolute wonderful experience there, she never wants to leave. We missed it so much last year, parents need the break, knowing that their child is safe. I hope we can get her in this year.
My 26-year-old daughter with severe CP loves this place and so do we! It is a great way for her to socialize and for us to get a much-needed rest.
