I can’t say enough wonderful things about this summer camp! The staff is truly amazing, and my kids have loved every minute of their summer there. Watching them grow in confidence, make new friends, and come home excited each day has been such a blessing. A special shoutout to Kelly, the director. She has been incredibly accommodating, patient, and caring with our family. No matter what we’ve needed, she’s always gone above and beyond to help. It’s clear how much she and the entire staff genuinely care about the children. We are so grateful for the positive experience they’ve given our family and highly recommend this camp to anyone looking for a fun, safe, and nurturing place for their kids!
Our son absolutely loves it! He comes home dirty everyday which is a little boys dream. They have every outdoor activity including pool, fishing and every sport. We would do it for the whole summer if it wasn't so far from home and expensive. But if you ask me its worth it! Some of the best counselors and great hours of operation for a working parent! Definitely coming back next summer!
This was our first time at camp, and it was a fantastic experience! I dropped my first-grader off looking pristine and clean, and picked him up looking like a dirt-caked little hobo—LOL! At first, I was a little concerned, so I asked if everything was okay. His response instantly put my mind at ease: "It was the best day of my life!" Hearing that completely filled my heart. I'm so grateful for the fun, adventure, and memories he experienced in just one day. I can't wait to hear about all of his new daily adventures. Thank you for making his first camp experience such a special one!
This was my daughter's first year with the camp and it has been positive experience. The staff is excellent - great focus on making sure the children feel cared for and safety is a top focus. The team members are all friendly, engaged, and work together very well. After having a horrific experience with another local camp where the opposite of these points were experienced, thank you, Camp Chippewa! It's great to be able to go to work knowing my child is safe and going to have a great time!
I’ve been hearing about this camp for years from many thrilled parents and kiddos so I was excited that my 7 year old was old enough to attend this year- after touring the camp I was jealous that I could not attend too! My son just finished his 3rd week and has loved it so much he’s asked to rearrange our summer plans to go more! They offer such a fun and wholesome environment with amazing counselors/staff. I cannot recommend them enough and look forward to many summers at Camp Chippewa!
