I can promise you this is the best yard from Maine to Texas. I have seen many things in my career (30 year all serious merchant maritime career and also high priced rec yachting) People take the ICW from all over the place to get worked on here. When a yard messes up news spreads fast, this place and personnel have an impeccable reputation and this is a 5 star organization. We are talking decades of excellence where most yards can't go a day without drama, lying to you or something like putting your props on backwards. Professional and they have serious maritime knowledge and therefore they pride themselves on their skill and reputation. Any mariner or Captain understands our creed and pride in ourselves and these guys are just like that!
Fantastic yard -- a true family business with the experience, wisdom, and customer-focused mentality to make sure you and your boat are taken care of. Highly recommend.
I rarely write reviews but I must share my appreciation for Bonnie, Mason and Spencer for bending over backwards on short notice and making my repair quickly. I had a weld break on my fuel manifold causing a leak. The team turned my repair around in 3 days which included removal, welding, painting and reinstalling. I had been looking for a yard that I could trust so in a way I’m glad this minor issue happened because I found the boat yard I’ll be using for all my needs. Quality, trustworthy people!
Could not be happier with Peter, Mason, and the entire team at Camachee Yacht Yard! They are the most professional, honest, and straight forward repair yard I have ever dealt with and will always look to them for all my future needs. My engine rebuild encountered several abnormal issues, however their commitment to working through them and ensuring the repairs were done correctly is a testament to their professionalism, fairness, and total customer satisfaction! Thank you all again!
What a great experience in a difficult situation. I purchased a boat in South Florida and had a Captain bring it up to Michigan. He had some disabling mechanical issues and got a strong recommendation to limp along to Camachee Yacht Yard. There were lots of issues with back ordered parts and warranty approvals, but Bonnie and Mason kept me well informed and most of all made me feel like a high priority regular customer. I was very impressed, they know I won’t be boating near St. Augustine again anytime soon, but if my boat needs service I will wish they were close.
