Callie Kays General Store

The store had a good inventory and good prices. Although, the staff we interacted with made it set in stone that we won’t be returning. We did get welcomed as we entered and asked if we were looking for anything in particular. Throughout the shopping experience was fine but, when my husband and I checked out we weren’t greeted with a smile. The cashier that took care of us looked like she had better things to do and honestly wasn’t very friendly. She told us the total, grabbed our card, handed it back and asked if we needed a bag or receipt ,which we declined, all while she had the most annoyed look. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or what but in professionalism , you don’t bring that to work. I’ve worked retail and I know it’s 100% vital that you offer great customer service to have returning as well as new customers. Very disappointed with this experience.

A beautiful example of a Western Wear Store. Lovely leather smell from the boots, good selection of clothing in popular sizes. Prices as expected for quality.

Great selection of clothes & shoes. Their boot selection is out of this world. When you enter the store, the boots are on display upstairs. I didn't have time to try any on. I'm saving that for my next trip. Employee was quite helpful. Only issue is the checkout area. Myself and another lady stood at what was the u-shaped display counter and waited. We didn't know that the checkout was on the left side of said counter. Maybe a 4-sided sign hanging directly above checkout would help.
