We came in just under an hour 'til closing the day after St. Patty's, but service and food were amazing, friendly and warm. Our server was as kind to us as a mother feeding her kids. The corned beef and cabbage were somehow better than any I've ever made at home. The drink was okay, but it was pretty. The cake was also amazing, even though I don't normally like lemon flavored desserts. Just an amazing restaurant. Would definitely be back if we lived in the area.
The atmosphere is your typical Irish theme but was very clean and cozy. We started off with the pretzel bites and the boneless wings they were very good and came out hot! My wife got the Shepards pie and I got the fish and chips! The Shepards pie was good and the fish and chips were really good 2 big pieces of fish and came out super hot! Def will be back 10/10 experience and very reasonable price all this and drinks for only 44$!
Been here 3 times now. Bangers and Mash are amazing. Sheperds pie also very good. Went tonight and had the irish egg rolls, could of had that for my meal and been happy. The corned beef in them were fantastic. My only recommendation would be that I wish the potatoes were a little warmer when served, but the gravy is always good. Look forward to watching some Jags games there in coming months and trying the fish and chips..Also service was good tonight, but can often be slower than id like, but not enough to cry about it.
Some of the best restaurants are the ones you discover when you least expect them. Robert and I found Callahan's Irish Bistro on our way home from a funeral. It somehow felt fitting to raise a glass of Irish whiskey in honor of someone we loved, so we stopped in. What we found was so much more than a meal. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like old friends. The staff was genuinely kind, the people gathered at the bar struck up wonderful conversations, and the entire place had the warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger. We shared a delicious Reuben and started with their fresh corned beef egg rolls, which were absolutely outstanding. And don't leave without dessert. Their cakes are absolutely gorgeous, and of course I had to take a slice home. That first visit wasn't our last. I've returned several more times, and every experience has been just as wonderful. What has impressed me most is that Callahan's is a true family business. On visits, I watched several family members step in to help keep the restaurant running, and it was genuinely heartwarming. Seeing an older gentleman behind the bar pouring cold beers, serving Irish whiskey, and greeting guests with a smile reminded me that the best restaurants aren't built only on great food: they're built on families who love what they do and work together to make everyone feel at home. As someone with French roots who also loves a cozy Irish pub, I absolutely adore the French-Irish concept. It makes my heart smile. Somehow Callahan's manages to feel both authentic and unique at the same time. Part of me almost wants to keep this place my own little secret because it's such a special find—but that's only a joke. The truth is, I hope they're wildly successful because they deserve it. If you go, do yourself a favor and order the app. known as the "Dubliner". It's a like bit of everything you want om a plate of Irish comfort food. Whether you're stopping in for a pint, a slice of cake, or a meal with friends and family, Callahan's is the kind of place that reminds you why locally owned restaurants matter. We'll be back again and again. Cheers!
What can I say about this place? Pretty much everything here is amazing. It’s easily my go-to spot when I’m craving good food in a laid-back atmosphere. The wings are always spot on, the Irish egg rolls are a must-try, and you can’t go wrong with the burgers, fish and chips, or the reuben. If you want something a little different, the salmon wellington is fantastic too. It’s classic bar food, but it’s consistently done right. Every dish I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Definitely one of those places where you can order anything off the menu and know it’s going to be good. Love the staff they are always so friendly. I always look foward to coming here. Try the sangria! You will love it!
