I LOVE LOVE Callahan Nails! They introduced me to Gel X for my nails & I’ll never go back to regular gel!! They do AMAZING designs as well 💓 I also love that I can show them a pic of nails that I want, and they make it happen. I have also gotten pedicures & my eyebrows waxed. Love the staff! Support local 💅
If I could give this place NEGATIVE 10 stars, I sure as hell would! I asked the woman in the front if they do colored acrylic & she looked at me like I was from Mars! 🤦♀️ She said I would need a whole new set, which is bulls*it. I've been getting my nails done since I'm 16, this isn't my 1st rodeo! She said to have a seat & the woman who was giving a pedicure came & started my nails. Asked me if I wanted them cut, I said yes, just a little bit. I was talking to my daughter while some older guy was doing hers. When I looked at my hands, she cut them WAY to short & extremely uneven in length. One of my nails was lifting from the top, so instead of fixing it, she was gluing it😤 I told her to stop & I walked over to the manager or whoever this chick was & told her what she was doing. Of course there they go talking in their native language & then she told me to sit, I'll fix it. Now I'm fuming because I know this old woman screwed up. Watching the guy do my daughters nails & he barely filed the colored acrylic off & "filled" just the top under her cuticle 😤 These people have no clue how to do nails! He put gel polish over her nails & it looks messy. Now she takes me & says she'll have to cut them to the shortest nail. I told her that's not what I want, but don't have a choice because the other woman didn't know what she's doing! She then says to Me that my "powder" was old & needs a new set anyway. I told her these are my real nails with acrylic on top. So she tries to tell me again to get a new set. I said fine. I should have stayed with my gut & said no! Now she takes a nail clipper & is ripping the acrylic & my real nails off! My blood is boiling because now she ripped my nail & skin, now it's bleeding. Then she's taking a fake nail to take the acrylics off & it hurts. Why? Because there was NOTHING wrong with the actual acrylic except for grow out! So she's now butchered my nails, made me bleed & there's still a piece of acrylic stuck to my nail that's attached to my skin! I told her to clean up this mess & I was leaving. Not an I'm sorry, let me fix them, let me make it right, don't pay for your daughters nails.. NOTHING FROM HER OR THE OLD WOMAN WHO SHRUGGED HER SHOULDERS WHEN I TOLD HER THEY ARE TOO Short! She got annoyed like I did SOMETHING WRONG! The only thing I did wrong was walking into this pathetic place! I would not recommend anyone who loves their nails to go here. Something told me when I waked in & it was empty to run, but I though I I'd give them a chance. Now I'm sorry I drove all that way to pay for my daughters shitty nail job & I left with literally nothing done & NO NAILS!! Just blood from the skin under my nail being ripped off! I won't be able to go get my nails done till this heals. If this becomes infected, there's going to be a very big problem for them! DO NOT USE CALLAHAN NAILS 💅 IF YOU VALUE YOUR NAILS!!! STAY FAR AWAY! PICTURES SPEAK LOUDER THAJ WORDS!!!
i have never had a problem with callahan nails until this past few days. thursday i went in at 4:30 pm and i asked for a fill with french tips , i always do french tips ! they couldn’t get the shape right so i just asked for them to paint them all black. about an hour after i got done getting my nails one of them started lifting because the first layer of paint was STILL WET. i fixed it myself, not a huge deal. well the next morning at 6am almost all the polish came off my index finger nail. clearly wet as it’s all over my fingers. i went in friday evening and asked them to fix them. they fixed them and gave me the french tips i wanted. and made me pay an extra 15 which i didn’t even care because i wanted my french tips in the first place. i was so happy i just got them fixed right. well today (saturday morning), my thumb nail chipped off and the first layer of paint is STILL WET. i called them to ask if i could come get them fixed after work at 6, they said they close at 6 and will not stay later. i’m so beyond furious that i explained what was wrong the first time and that it still happened again. and now im going to have to pay more money to get them fixed correctly by someone else!!!! EDIT: I ONLY POSTED THIS ONE HOUR AGO AND THREE OTHER NAILS CHIPPED BECAUSE OF THE WET PAINT UNDERNEATH!!!!!! EDIT: update i called them to ask for a refund and they said no but offered to fix them again. i just hung up because i don’t want to waste my time to have them done wrong again. i will be going elsewhere.
It was a delightful visit. The establishment is clean and quiet. They even took us in for premium pedicures last minute. They are professional and diligent. You will leave her with a smile and happy feet😆 - I have returned yet again. The staff here is on point. I left, with everything from the knees down, feeling fluffy and relaxed. Thank you for being consistent with your service!!!
There’s a reason this place has low ratings. They are rude and unprofessional. Refused to listen and got an attitude when I simply asked her to correct a crooked nail shape. I’ll give two stars for the guy who did the pedicure but I walked out in the middle of the manicure because the old lady was so mean.
