Our first project with Buchanan Builders was a complicated one: the roots of a towering oak tree had caused a section of our front porch to start separating from the house we'd purchased a few months earlier. The separation crack quickly widened to nearly an inch. It threatened to tear off the roof if a hurricane buzzed by. Clayton Buchanan came to the rescue, excising the root, fixing the compromised porch pier and replacing the aging wood decking with travertine. (Don't let this short-hand description minimize the work that was involved.) He even created a lovely laundry room from one end of the deck. From this job, he won our trust and respect. Fast forward a year: Clayton and the team from Buchanan Builders were back to give us the kitchen of our dreams. Once again it was a complex project, involving the likes of engineers, jackhammers and new beams. The final product: perfection. Wanda Warner & David Tober
Buchanan built our home a few years back and was top quality! When we decided to expand and build specialty patio with large outside stone fireplace, bluestone floors and pergolas, we ofcourse went to them for their expertise and excellent subcontractors. We couldn’t be more pleased and continually get comments from golfers as they pass our house. Personal attention to their jobs and communication is the best!
We were fortunate to have Buchanan Builders renovate our home last year. Our home is a home that Clayton Buchanan built for himself and his family in the 2000s, so we were doubly-blessed. Every part of the project went smoothly - from design to construction to completion. The team was inspirational, professional, and very communicative. I would highly recommend Buchanan Builders to anyone seeking a quality project done right - without exceptions!
We worked with the Buchanan’s to do an extensive renovation to our historic home. Their attentiveness, attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot when unexpected obstacles arose was amazing. Even one year post renovation they have made themselves available to answer questions and check in to assure that we are pleased with the results. As part of our project we also did a separate new construction build on our property as well. The quality of craftsmanship was wonderful. They assisted us in developing a new build which complemented the historical home which resided on the property. They were also able to connect us with wonderful subcontractors to handle other aspects of this site renovation (landscaper, pool, fence, etc). In doing so, their expertise facilitated a streamlined project
We used Buchanan Builders for a major kitchen and laundry room renovation. They did a wonderful job! Clayton, Liba and Myles were very communicative and responsive. Subcontractors were reliable and respectful. It was our most pleasant experience with a contractor! We love our new kitchen!
