Opened in March 2026 (formerly Joe's Crab Shack) and we had an awesome lunch on the beach. All servers were terrific especially Lacy our main server while there. Did I say the food was great. 5 🌟 $$.$ Gotta try it out.
First time we've been to BGs in close to 20 years, and this time was not a disappointment. Forrest's Feast was fried golden brown and them hush pups made me want a second batch to take home. My wife's steak was cooked perfectly, but the mashed potatoes left something to be desired... can't put my finger on it, but they were just off. Her replacement fries were a fine substitute. But the food took second place to the service. If there were ever anyone who absolutely loves their job and does it well consistently, our server, Riley, certainly fits the bill. With the enthusiasm of a game show host, she welcomed us like we were family as she politely made a normal sales pitch for the specials feel exciting. We listened as she maintained this level of service to every single table. The trifecta was completed with the gorgeous oceanview patio seating, that was actually cooler than inside. The atmosphere lives up to the hype of the billing. Unlike a box of chocolates, you know what you'll get at this location. Enjoy.

Janie and the new kid, Riley took real good care of us. The food was great but the drinks were off. Fast becoming one of our favorites. Update: Riley took care of us again! 09/05/26. Her confidence and personality shined! Food was great too!
We went to Bubba Gump for the first time on a Friday evening. A table outside wasn’t immediately available but very pleasant hostess directed us to the bar while we waited. The bartenders were awesome! The Jenny’s Lemonade was fantastic. The hostess went out of her way to get us a seat outside with a fantastic view of the beach. Calvin was our server and he was the best!! He was super attentive and so friendly!! He definitely cares about his customers. The food was outstanding! Got the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer, super tasty! Lt. Dans drunken shrimp and grits was amazing!! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely go back. Would love to see Calvin again!!
