1st time at this location. I’ve been at the other locations on 210 & downtown St.Augustine. It was a very busy night. My sis and I didn’t know if we were to seat ourselves or just keep standing there. Looked for a sign but didn’t see one so figured we’ll just go see the cashier. Once we got seated we were talking for a while until Izzy came over and greeted us. She did a phenomenal job and checked in on us. She made the time to do so regardless on how busy she was. Even though the food didn’t come out all at once like it was supposed to I enjoyed the atmosphere and how homey this pace felt. To be able to enjoy my time with one of my sistas. So thank you guys so much. I appreciate you all keep it up! I know I’m a little late but congratulations on the opening and sending an abundance of blessings & success your way!
We arrived shortly before 5 pm and waited well over an hour to get our pizza. They definitely put more priority over to go orders but even people who came in after we did were eating before we even received our food. To top it off, when my husband had already eaten a good bit of his pizza, he noticed a long black hair on the plate which did not belong to him or me (left side of plate). Just disgusting. I had high hopes for this place but we are one and done. And it wasn’t cheap either.
The Detroit pizza is fully legit & delicious. If you are from the 313 you can comfortably go there, trust me
I fear our deep dish pizza was cold and had to be reheated twice BUT our server is the reason this review gets 5 stars. Jaryn was so funny, kind, and compassionate. He was determined to make our dinner right. Had the kitchen reheat our pizza and he stood at our table until we confirmed the pizza was hot. I truly would come back and hope he be our server every time. He boxed our meal up when we were done and I genuinely could not thank him enough. He even took the time to chat with us for a while and we had some good laughs. He truly cares about his job and the people he is serving. 10/10 for our guy Jaryn!!
I visited for the first time yesterday with my family and we were absolutely impressed. The pizza was amazing, and I also ordered the penne alfredo which was excellent. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Our server Samantha was wonderful. She was smiling, kind, and truly spread positive energy the entire time we were there. She made our experience even better. We will definitely be coming back regularly. Highly recommended.
