This handyman gave me the price to reset 14 windows. He went out and gave the estimate . I gave him the scope of work. The scope said reinstall widows from the outside in. He did 4 windows correct. He did not send 4 videos. He stated it would be easy because all he had to do was loosen screws and push framing out and secure the framing. I went out the job site And he failed to do the job correctly. I paid him. I learnt one thing I will never pay anyone without inspecting first. I informed him of his poor workmanship in not following the scope of work. He said that he wasn’t paid to fix stucco. It had nothing to do with stucco. He got smart!!!!!! I told him I would never recommend him ever. I will report this to Floridas business revue board in Tallahassee. Never hire him. He isn’t reputable. He doesn’t back up his work
Brandon Handyman LLC painted the exterior of my house. His team were very professional and courteous. The prices are reasonable and the work is excellent!! I will use his services again and I give him my highest recommendation. Thank you Brandon. 5 stars!!!!
Unfinished Work, Hid Behind Semantics, Misled His Contractor, and Horrible Follow-Up Skills! We referred Brandon with Brandon's Handyman Services to a Local Contractor here in Jacksonville named Jim (as you'll see Jim's 1-star review on this account as well - "This handyman gave me the price to reset 14 windows")- even trying to contact Brandon again to get the story correct and got nothing but the same excuses. When the incorrect work was noticed and confronted, Brandon immediately pushed back (like he had the whole story already planned out) – telling the contractor to kick rocks and go ahead and leave a negative review – “he didn’t care”. This Pay-Check-Only Attitude seems to be an ongoing issue in the Trades Industry, where many contractors (and of course their subs) live in this “Not My Job” or “Not my problem” realm of just getting paid and moving on with zero accountability, zero care for what was asked of them or what they were paid to do (even when it’s referral work with more work behind it) and more. In the Contracting world, there will always be discrepancies, moves/adds/changes, as over half our world lives (and profits) in those areas, but when you have contractors that purposefully hide behind semantics, accept work (bid on the very work knowing well what they are doing, and what needs to be done) then DON’T DO THAT WORK – it’s time for complaints and action/s. We have already warned his references; we will continue to warn others and will never recommend this contractor again! We need to remind you, the contractor or homeowner, to get arrangements in writing, only put down small deposits, confirm work (in person), and, of course, check licensing, references, and reviews by Googling people online and through the DBPR, Sunbiz.org, and the online complaint websites to help prevent this in the future. You have been warned.
Here in 15 minutes got the job done in a hour and it looks perfect highly recommend him for your jobs
Brandon was fantastic! He was very responsive and professional. He installed a new door for us and we have plans for a few other repairs around the house. Brandon is very skilled and smart. He knows what he is doing! His prices are reasonable and his work is high quality. While he was going through our house he took time to correct little things with doors not closing properly. He pays attention to detail and cares about his work and customers. I look forward to working with Brandon again and highly recommend him!
