Nice spot for bird watching and walking trails. I saw some interesting birds and the trail was peaceful, but it was too hot with very little shade, so I only stayed about 30 minutes. Definitely recommend visiting early in the morning when it’s cooler.

This is a nice spot for a small hike. There is only parking for about 5 vehicles and no facilities. The trail is very clear and easy. Two people can walk side by side the entire time. It says no dogs but almost everyone else there had one. We saw a bunch of water lilies which might look awesome in bloom.
Beautiful slice of old Florida hidden in Oakleaf. The parking area is small and only has an informative kiosk (no restrooms or water fountains). Trails are well marked and beginners friendly. There are also unmarked forest roads you can take. Dog-friendly.
What a nice place to take a walk. There were 2 different loops you can take. We got to see some birds, which was nice! There were no bathrooms, dog waste receptacles, or decent parking. But overall, we enjoyed our time.
UPDATE: In the past it was impossible to get here but recently improvements have been made. A nice parking lot has been added with space for 3-5 cars, including handicap parking . The now easily accessible trails are well kept and clearly marked with blue blazers. The scenery is beautiful with pine trees and wildflowers guiding your way. It's a great place to take your family for an early morning walk or an evening stroll.
