Bowden Eye & Associates

I have been using Bowden Eye associates for several years. I began using them mainly due to proximity to my home and a change in insurance. I was hooked after my first visit! The office staff is beyond amazing. They are all kind, cordial, courteous, and efficient in all that they do! They are painstakingly thorough, as well! I see Dr. Robbin! I love the fact that he is 'real' and down to earth with his patients! That definitely makes a doctor's visit less intimidating. I truly appreciate that and also the fact that he doesn't try to upsell anything that isn't absolutely needed! Having the ability to choose different offices is very helpful, too! Depending on my personal schedule, I've been able to make appointments on different sides of town while still seeing Dr. Robbin! I've also had an instance where I scratched my cornea and was able to get an emergency visit with him without issue! Finding the right doctor is important for various reasons. You know you've found the right fit when you're willing to drive across town for your specific doctor.... Not because your insurance dictates that specific person but because YOU do! De. Robbin and Bowden Eye Associates are both my right choice!

Bowden’s Eye & Associates was over the top. Everyone that I had contact with was friendly, answered all my questions and just made feel good about making the decision to come to them for my eye care. The Doctor and his staff were very thorough. One of the best eye checkups I have had in a long time. Dr. went over everything, referred me to a retina specialist, made an appointment to return for another procedure that I will have done at their clinic. I felt at ease about all my concerns. Thank you for taking such good care of eyes. You know that they really care about their patients…. I would give them an A+

I have been going here through necessity for a year. Although Dr Bowden is great and thorough I cannot recommend him and regret starting with him. I have never waited less than 2 hours and most often it’s 4-6! Can you ever, ever imagine the disrespect for someone’s time? It’s so awful and I’m one inevitably surrounded by elderly people waiting so patiently while being forced to sit for hours on end watching Steve Harvey in uncomfortable chairs. It borders on elderly abuse! It’s inexplicable and unconscionable to treat anyone this way, let alone elderly. There’s truly ZERO reason to manage a practice this way. Believe me from the doctor to the receptionist they are aware of this patient abuse and they apologize and give an excuse. Once is fine but always? Just look at the complaints in here. Also, look at the edited comments. Fairly certain the office reached out to get the complaints changed. It’s a shame because he’s a good doctor but not the only game in town. Do yourself a favor and find another specialist. They do exist and you don’t have to miss an entire day EVERY SINGLE TIME You GO!

Dr. Bowden is exceptionally thorough and highly knowledgeable in the management of cataracts and the treatment of dry eyes; the wait time is well justified by the quality of care and attention he provides. His professionalism is evident and greatly appreciated. However, some of the younger staff would benefit from demonstrating a more personable approach to better align with Dr. Bowden’s high standard of patient care.
