I filed for SSD on my own. Huge mistake, after denial I contacted The Bourne Group they came highly recommended. Mr. Bourne reviewed my case with me and immediately realized the issue’s. We appealed and he worked diligently on correcting my mistakes. Wishing that I had sought the council of Mr.Robert Bourne on my initial filing. Rookie mistakes would’ve been avoided and I would’ve been approved the first time. BUT, details and correct wording matter. Leave it to the experts The Bourne Group. Highly recommend by myself and other family members that were denied 3 times with other high profile lawyer firms. Mr.Bourne took the case, appealed and won their case as well!!! Mr Bourne is NOT an attorney. Just be aware of that if you want a lawyer to represent you. He is rude and not very empathetic. He does as little actual work for you as possible. He will recommend the option that will garner him the most amount of money, not necessarily the option best for you. I wouldn't look not recommend him as my personal experience with him was not a good one. In the end I did get disability, but I did it on my own but he still got paid since I started the process with him.
The Bourne group are fantastic to work with. Always quick to respond to a question. I feel like i am their only client. When's the last time you felt like that? Dont hesitate to call. Mr. Bourne is a very knowledgeable and caring person. He will always talk to you or call you back in a very timely manner. He has helped us many times and we appreciate it very much.
Did not appear in the least bit interested in my severely developmentally disabled son's disability case. Had his receptionist brush me off and never called to follow up, as was promised. Would not recommend.
