I normally don’t write negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. I was charged $300 for a brief visit where the provider simply asked a handful of questions — the same questions I had already completed online before the appointment. No exam, no testing, no treatment plan, and nothing new discussed. With the economy the way it is, I don’t have an extra $300 to spend on what felt like a basic intake conversation. I don’t even have any active issues right now; I was simply establishing care. I was told to “contact them if anything happens in the future,” and that was it. For the cost, I expected more value, clarity, or at least a more thorough visit. I left feeling overcharged and disappointed.
Everyone was friendly and accommodating. So far Dr Knox seems great. He fully explained what the plan of care was going to be and listened to my input. I have been going to BG for years, various doctors, they have all been good. No complaints from me.
Do not waste your time or money with Dr. K. I don't recommend him. I left my first visit with doubts but gave him the benefit of the doubt. Before my second visit, I called the office to confirm he had everything needed to review my case. I was assured he did. He did not. When I arrived, he showed me no imaging, told me nothing was wrong, and then asked, "Did you have labs done?" which told me everything. He had throughly reviewed my workup at all. He casually mentioned that things sometimes get lost and assured me someone would track them down and follow up. Two weeks passed. No call. When I finally reached out, the office had no answers, and his nurse got on the line. That conversation confirmed every doubt I had. After 20 minutes, it was clear she had no knowledge of my current imaging or recent bloodwork and kept referencing old results pulled from my primary care doctor and old imaging. The nurse was dismissive and her solution was for me to come back in and pay again for what should have already been done properly. She promised to call me back. I am still waiting... The staff members are friendly. Unfortunately, friendly staff does not excuse poor communication, disorganization, incomplete record review, and a doctor who was not thorough or prepared. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously, and this office expected me to spend even more money to fix their own lack of follow-through. After spending over $1600 that unacceptable. 4/9/26 Thank you for your response. I spent nearly 30 minutes on the phone with your office, and Dr's. nurse disclosed information that made me more concerned, not less, about the lack of follow-through in my care. Your nurse assured me she had written everything down and would follow up after speaking with Dr. She never did. A public response saying you want to make things right means very little when the private follow-ups already promised by the Dr. on 3/23 and his nurse on 4/3 never happened. Another phone call is not what I am looking for. What I am requesting is a written summary through the patient portal that addresses my concerns, the status of my recent imaging and bloodwork, and Dr.'s assessment based on a thorough review of my current records, including the supplemental imaging that was provided. Along with the two specific question I asked.
Heather Connell is very personable. More importantly she is attentive. She heard my concerns, asked questions and determined the tests and procedures needed to diagnose my symptoms. Heather works with Dr. Chisholm they are both friendly, compassionate professionals. I highly recommend both of them. Sept. 2, 2026 today I had a complicated issue and difficulty making a decision. Makayla, Heather Connell, the office manager and Heather at the front desk spent 2 hours making calls, sending emails, consulting others to provide answers to my questions which led to a decision. Each of these ladies went beyond the call of duty to help me. Furthermore, they were all friendly and patient. I also love my Dr. Sian Chisholm. I appreciate all you very much!
Was very impressed with their office. Everyone was very professional and friendly! I saw Heather Connelly and she explained everything to me about test I need to have and why. I really liked her!!
