Boone Park South Playground

A mostly tree shaded park. There is wood mulch covering the bottom of the playground area. The greater park area near the playground has exercise machines, benches, picn8c tables, walking paths and grassy areas. Some swings were missing but toddler swings, a disc swing and handicap chair swing were there. The park has a big rope climbing structure as well as smaller rocks and a wall for rock climbing. My 8 year old enjoyed playing. during the morning around 9:30.

Update: I recently visited the newly renovated Boone Park playground and had a fantastic experience. The playground itself is well-designed and provides a safe and enjoyable space for children to play. However, I was disappointed to find that there is no tennis complex on-site, and there are no restroom facilities available. Additionally, the parking area is covered in sand, which can be tracked in and out of your car. On the positive side, the playground is suitable for nearly all ages and ability levels, offering swings, a hamster-go-wheel, exercise stations for toning and cardio, plenty of climbing activities, several spinning merry-go-rounds, and a teeter-totter. There's also ample shade provided by the beautiful canopy of trees and a pleasant walking trail. It's worth noting that I have often seen police officers on horseback patrolling the park, adding to the sense of security in the area.

Boone Park is amazing right over in Avondale St. John’s Avenue and Park Street and the area is just amazing. Beautiful home beautiful location got a nice part for the kids walking trails beautiful scenery beautiful neighborhood. I just love it come visit. I promise it won’t waste your time and you’ll enjoy the ride time to go for a walk.
