My first time and definitely not the last time there, I ordered a pull pork sandwich and was kind of skeptical of it because most places give you 50% fat and 50% meat so I ordered turkey as well, but when I tried it it was amazing! The portion was huge and the pulled pork was so lean I loved it I hate fat and not having to dissect my meal to eat it was such a relief! The workers were super nice and made me feel welcome the turkey is amazing too I just can’t finish it because I ate to much of the pork haha
Still my favorite Florida smoke/BBQ haven! You can't spell America without BBQ! Mary is a totally awesome, professional, attentive server. I love the fact that wings are now part of the meat combo. I have yet to leave Bono's hungry. Bono's makes BBQ ancestors proud! I'll be back!
We LOVE Bono's BBQ!! We shared the 2 meat special, a side salad, and sweet potato with sugar butter YUM!!!
Food and atmosphere was great. Meat was nice and tender. At first our server was a little grumpy but once we cracked some jokes she perked up.
I would rate this as 3.5. We went through the drive thru and got the brisket sandwich (chopped) with 2 sides, coleslaw and the side of the day, which was hash brown casserole. The hash brown casserole was delicious, and the coleslaw was creamy and decent. The sandwich came on toast, which was interesting, but the meat spilled out everywhere. Unfortunately, we didn’t love the brisket - found it a bit dry. Missus didn’t like how fatty it was, but mister doesn’t mind the fat. It just didn’t hit quite as well as some of the bbq we’ve had.
