Mike is great! New to the area and have found my go to bait shop. Been going for a couple of weeks now and have a great experience every time. Also tried you dirty dog next to the bait shop. Billy is friendly and the menu is awesome! Here’s today’s catch with live shrimp from the shop.
Very well stocked bait and tackle store. Surprisingly outfitted with gear and even Huk branded clothes. Frozen bait and lures of many kinds are available. There are often food trucks in the parking lot. Oh, and you can rent UHaul there, too!
Was looking so forward to trying out a new bait and tackle shop…. Highly disappointed… No live bait whatsoever. Roy was a nice guy, but it’s not worth stopping at this prime location. No Hot Dogs or boiled peanuts. I purchased 12 dead shrimp at $5 a bag and they were rotten. I was robbed. He said live bait was out of season, really? Live bait is never out of season. Go anywhere else, but stay away from Bob’s Bait and Tackle. Not Florida Man Approved!
If I could rate 100 stars 🌟 I definitely would, Best bait shop ever mr mike is amazing. They are always full of supplies and bait. There is also a very yummy hot dog stand😋🌭. He even does U-haul rentals. This is my go to bait shop. The service is great and are stocked up on Bonita, mullet, and minnows. Would recommend 👌
All my live shrimp were dead as soon as I got to the ramp. They’re more expensive here than where I normally get them, so that was disappointing. Although it’s summer time, that was outlandish especially because I have a yeti live well with a good bubbler. It definitely put a damper on fishing.
