Bishop Classic Motors

I inherited a car from my dad - 1969 Firebird. Bishop Classic motors restored it beautifully. We were very happy with their communication, service, and of course, the end result!

I wish I could give less than one star. I was scammed out of $4500. After active conversation with owner Matt Bishop and shop manager Miro I was reassured that they would take on my restoration project. After meeting with Miro and his wife for lunch and handing over the $4500 for “parts and labor” they called me up informing me that they could no longer peruse my project due to a family death of their body shop lead. They delivered my car back to me with nothing more than glass and front quarter panels removed from the body. All of which I could have done in my own garage. $4500 for rudimentary disassembly???? Even at double the rate they were charging me ($86/hour) $172/hour is still 26 labor hours. You’re telling me it took over half a work week’s worth of time to take doors and glass off??? I tried reaching out to Matt Bishop and Miro both by phone, text, email, and going to their newly established show room. I was ignored on all fronts. I was unable to get my money back or continue the metal work necessary to continue my project. I’ve since had work done on my other projects at RM Garage, Heart of Spades, and Street Rod Shop. Wayne, Kyle, and Jim are 1000x more professional thank Matt Bishop and Miro at Bishop Classic Motors. Don’t give them your business. Go elsewhere
