We recently needed to have some electrical components updated in order to install a pool heater. We contacted several companies for quotes, but ultimately decided to go with Sam because he was personable, knowledgeable, and gave us a very fair price. They were able to get the work completed within just a few days, and we were very happy with the entire experience. Everything was straightforward, the pricing was fair, and we never felt like we were being overcharged or sold anything we didn’t need. We’d definitely recommend Sam and his team and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future!
We want to Thank Sam and his crew for the excellent job they did installing our outdoor lighting. They went above and beyond in making sure each bulb was in perfect position as well as checking out old wiring and outlets. The whole crew was polite and professional. They cleaned up so well that we'd have never known they were here. We found them to be fair and honest. We will certainly use them for any further electrical needs we may have. Our firepit and picnic area is a lot cozier and inviting now!
We’ve had Sam come out and do electrical work for us when needed for the last seven years. Installing outdoor outlets, wiring for swim spa, ceiling, fan installation, and bathroom. Always friendly, reasonably priced and excellent work. Whenever we need a job done, he’s the only one we call.
Turner electric charged me $1725 to hang one chandelier. At the time, I approved it. We had agreed on an hourly rate, but we had greatly exceed his estimate of $600. At the time, I had to leave, so I didn't see the scratched floor under the scaffolding. Or that a wire was coming over the side of the chandelier. Plus, a couple of days later, the tape that he had sprayed gold to cover the wires on top pulled up. (l did approve him covering with tape as it had taken multiple hour at that point, and he told me that it wasn't possible to get the wires into the inside. He also told me that the tape wouldn't come up.) When I contacted Turner Electric, I was told that I approved the project and they were basically done. We had multiple text conversations during he told me that I was being "mean" because I said that the work looked bad. Months later (Turner had plenty of time to change their mind, and fix the install), I hired Motley Electric to fix it. They charged me $282 (including a ladder rental) to take the chandelier down, rewire it correctly, and rehang it. I also had to pay Driscoll flooring $500 to redo my floors. They had just been refinished one year prior. When I contacted Turner Electric again for a refund as I had to pay to have it redone, he stated that I did not even let him try to fix the problem. That he didn't scratch the floors, and that I had approved the project upon completion. When I asked him if HE thought that he did a good job, he did not answer. He just kept stating that I approved it. First pic shows the Turner install with wire coming over the side. Second pic shows the tape that Turner sprayed gold to cover up the wires on top coming loose. Third pictures shows chandelier after Motley Electric took it down and rewired it correctly. 4th picture shows the chandelier after Motley hung it.
THE BEST! If you want a skilled, honest, friendly and fair electrician company, look no further! We recently purchased a 50+ yr old condo that needed many challenging electrical things done. Sam and his team were amazingly skilled in solving and fixing them all! Not to mention they are all such wonderful people! These are my guys forever! They should be your too!
