DO NOT COME HERE!!! Update: responding to your response. I have the receipt from when I brought it back to you. There is proof that you actually had the truck at your shop after the smod event. Nice try. Yes the radiator failed but Bill, with his extensive knowledge, told me there was no other components that could compromise my transmission at the time y'all installed it. Got that receipt too. I have the receipts, wish I would've videoed Bill's vulgar language as well. Probably would have gotten better service from aamco. Update: almost a year after I got the truck back the radiator failed. Actually 2 weeks before the warranty ran out. This is a known issue on this particular truck. I asked Bill to check all relevant components while doing the gearbox swap to ensure no issues down the road. I thought that he did. He didn't because the radiator failed and that is a known failure point on this specific truck. He should have recommended a radiator swap and an independent gearbox radiator at the time of the swap given his so called extensive knowledge on this exact model. Took it back to him and he stated that since the radiator failed it's not covered under the warranty. He installed an independent gearbox radiator on the gearbox that is garbage now. Didn't tell me that it was garbage, he said that flushing it would be fine. It started acting up on the way home from the shop. I checked the fluid level when I got home and it was 1 1/2 quarts overfilled. Drained and filled it twice after I got it home and it's still acting up. Found the engine full of smod this morning. Flushed it 5 times and it's still got smod in it. Called him to talk with him about it and he called me a b****. Seriously. That's how you do business with people buddy? Basically washed his hands of my truck and told me that it's my problem now. If you choose to come here do all research on your exact transmission, so that you are informed about the intangibles of a transmission swap. Sometimes people with extensive knowledge know how to game the system. We all know how hard it is to find a good transmission guy and Bill isn't the one. Now I need a new transmission and a new radiator. Thanks for nothing Bill.
I asked Bill if he could get my mom’s car repaired as soon as possible, and he and his team went above and beyond. They had the car repaired and ready to go in just two days! Had a 1994 F150 with an E4OD stalling in reverse. Bill diagnosed it in the morning and was done with it shortly after I authorized the repair. He really knows his transmissions, and is an honest mechanic that will give you the service you need. The price wasn't shocking at all, and felt extremely fair. He's beating the market average for sure. I thoroughly enjoyed the minor technical and history lesson on my transmission he shared on returning the truck. I really appreciate the service I got, can't go wrong bringing your vehicle here. Super satisfied and would come back if I run into another issue or even need some knowledge.
Hey...do yourself a favor and visit Bill when you need any transmission service. First and foremost, he is honest. I was having a problem with my trucks transmission. I called bills, then they actually gave me some ideas over the phone. What the problem might be which is different from any other shop. I've ever been to given the fact my truck wouldn't shift. He could have told me that'll be $5000. And it ended up costing me right at $390. For the parts I needed, he could have easily sold me everything I didn't need. He didn't don't go anywhere else. Call these guys first. You won't regret it.
Top-notch service, honesty, and price. I brought my 2015 Infiniti Q50, which is notoriously known for limp mode due to a bad valve body sensor. When I spoke to him about the issue, he immediately recognized the issue and recommended which parts to order. I was able to get the parts after speaking with him the week before and have my car fixed the same day. I recommend Bill for all of your transmission repairs.
