She is, without question, one of the best decisions we made for our home. We found Amy through a referral that told us everything we needed to know. After hearing about our frustrating experience with our first contractor, a friend turned to his employee and said, "Pretend you're recommending someone to MY mom — who would you recommend?" Without hesitation, the answer was Amy. We liked her immediately, and before committing, I called every reference she provided and had lengthy conversations with each one. They all raved about her — with specific stories that made it clear she was exactly the right person for the job. Amy guided us through a major remodel of our kitchen and art studio — roughly one-third of our house — and the project was completed in just four months. That timeline is remarkable on its own, but the story behind it matters. Before Amy, we had spent three months with a different contractor, only to be told the cost would be double our pre-established budget — before we had even selected a single material. We parted ways and never looked back. My husband is extremely detail-oriented, and his biggest fear was that something would be missed, since neither of us had experience with renovations at this scale.
