Dr Bell is a heaven send. She does everything necessary to accommodate the needs of not only the parents but the child. She is professional and proficient. She took the time to understand both the needs of the babies and my concerns. Im not feeling so overwhelmed anymore.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Bell for my toddler since 2023. No major issues with her, aside from wanting X-rays for very minor concerns, which I usually decline. The real problem is her scheduler. After having my baby in late May, I couldn’t get an appointment until “the books opened” for June. Only 6 PM slots were offered—which is tough since my kids are asleep by then. I kept calling weekly asking for AM cancellations and got nothing. One day, the phone line was not in service. Now it’s July, my newborn is 4 weeks old, she told she ain’t a newborn anymore (which she is) and I’m still being told only 6 PM slots are available. When I asked again, the scheduler finally admitted Dr. Bell is only doing evening appointments. My baby could’ve been seen a month ago. Never again.
I had a frustrating experience at Bell Associated Pediatric when trying to transfer my child’s medical records. The staff was unhelpful and gave me the runaround, making the process unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming. It seems they only accept Medicaid, which is fine, but they make it difficult for families wanting to seek care elsewhere. Communication was poor, and I felt like my concerns were brushed aside. If you're considering this practice, be prepared for inefficiency and a lack of support. There are better options out there for your child's healthcare needs.
Dr. Bell had been my children’s pediatrician for over 20 years. Due to insurance changes, I also had to change their dr for a few years. But, we are back and so happy. My kids feel so comfortable with Dr. Bell. She is very thorough and has the best bedside manners. You can tell she cares about her patients.

The treatment received here is profoundly disappointing, and families deserve far better in their healthcare journey.
