Very helpful and kind organization ran by volunteers! They have a lovely garden where healthy food is grown towards the food pantry onsite, feeding the community:) they offer a variety of services as well!
Horrible customer service they don’t take any accountability. they have volunteers reach out to you and confirm documents and say your all set but when you call back to check the status of the application they blame the volunteer saying they gave all incorrect information and it’s not there fault, but it is if you have volunteers who are working on behalf of beam non profit or not they are still the source of information being provided so they need to take accountability they are quick to say they will close the case verses fixing their miscommunication and taking accountability that prolonged everything
They helped me with tax filing last year and this year . Give them a call for other services as well . They have website . The have food pantry and more! I highly recommend this organization.
B.E.A.M. is fantastic for our community and for morale. They have a beautiful garden of homegrown produce sustainable right in their own backyard in Jax Beach. Volunteers happily accepted, though there is a waiting list. Should you or anyone you know ever want to donate, volunteer, help networking, or need resources... please contact them.
Beam use to be a way for me to make it thru the month with my family for food and often extras like women's sanitary pads etc. But ever since their freezer went out I haven't had one single visit that's been well. I dont like not being able to pick my own meats. I don't like that 3 packages of meat ive gotten were bad and they were packages I wouldn't have picked for my family. I never know w what's actually in the box for me to be able to pick out my other items to plan meals. I know many others that have also said this to me as well but I'm we don't wanna make a fuss. I would really love for them to bring back the freezer to pick our own food again. It's one of the biggest things this food pantry had going on for our community.
