DBT has greatly improved my quality of life by teaching me various skills. Audrey is a wonderful therapist and group facilitator.

Our family has been working with Audrey Roach-Slivinski at Beaches Therapy since 2021, and we cannot recommend her and her practice highly enough! The skills we’ve learned and the care we’ve received have truly been life-changing and, at times, life-saving. Our daughter participated in both individual therapy and group DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills sessions with Audrey, while my wife and I attended the parent group/DBT skills sessions. As needed, we also engaged in family therapy and crisis consultations, all of which were seamlessly coordinated and tailored to our family’s needs. Audrey’s empathy, warmth, professionalism, patience, and nonjudgmental approach created a safe space for growth and healing. Her guidance was always clear and direct yet offered in a compassionate, non-critical manner. She coached us on how to set and maintain boundaries that aligned with our comfort level, which was transformative for our family dynamic. Finding Beaches Therapy and Audrey was a true blessing in my life. I lost my job of 31 years, was drowning in family chaos/drama and was severely depressed. It took everything in me just to go to therapy, I didn’t feel like I had a reason to even get out of bed. Audrey taught me so many tools, tools that I use to this day. She’s always there for you if you need her. She helped me feel freedom from judgement so I could not only open up with her but eventually with group therapy. Learned meditation, mindfulness, how to set boundaries and how to believe in myself again. If you need a therapist, look no further. Audrey is very professional, knows her field better than anyone, is an active listener and will help you do the work to get where you need to be. But, you must want to do the work and be respectful of other people’s time.
