I really love bringing my kids here. The doctor is very patient and takes the time to thoroughly examine and explain everything to both me and my children. My son is usually shy and nervous and doesn’t like going to doctor appointments, but after seeing Dr. Rivera, he was very relaxed and even told me he didn’t expect the visit to go so smoothly and that he felt very comfortable—which, as a mom, I truly appreciate. Dr. Rivera takes the time to examine everything carefully, listens to my concerns, and never makes us feel rushed. The wait time is very reasonable, and the self-pay pricing is clear with no surprise bills. I highly recommend Dr. Rivera; he is excellent, and the staff are always kind and friendly.
Dr. Rivera is such a treasure to our family! We have happily driven from PVB to Bartram for years just because of him and his wonderful staff. His and Erica's (APRN) gentleness with the kids, thoroughness in diagnosis, and their very patient and detailed explanations have always been above and beyond. Whether it's mystery aches/pains/bumps/rashes, getting stitches out, coughs and colds, fevers, checkups, or vaccinations, we can always count on Dr. Rivera to handle it. On a personal level, Dr. Rivera is just flat-out a good man. No ego, other-centered, kind, extremely compassionate, and deeply understanding.
We love Dr. Rivera! He is so kind and informative, answering any questions and concerns we have with ease. This has been extremely comforting as first time parents. He is so sweet to our baby and you can tell he really cares about his families. His nurses and office staff have also always been sweet and easy to work with. We recently had to reschedule and they got us in within a day notice.
My aunt recommended me to this office and I will be eternally grateful for it. Dr. Rivera is such a genuine human being. He truly listens to you, is not only understanding of your child's needs, but makes sure that you also understand your child's care plan. He will take what you say into consideration and will explain the decisions and next steps involved in what's best for your child's health. I completely trust his judgement and appreciate his obvious wisdom and knowledge of pediatrics. The nurses always make us feel welcome and happy to see my son. I've had to reschedule a couple times due to emergencies and they're understanding. I've also called for an urgent visit and they usually try to fit us in if it's not too serious and something that would be better taken care of ay Urgent Care or the ER. Love, love, love this office!
We have been taking our daughters to Dr. Rivera since birth and he is always so wonderful with them. He is gentle and kind with them and always asks us if we have any concerns without rushing us. The medical assistant, April, is a true gem of the practice too, as she always keeps our kids entertained while having to get shots and is genuinely sweet with our toddler!
