Baymont by Wyndham Jacksonville/Butler Blvd

Great little hidden gem. We came here due to a Mayo Clinic visit. They made us feel at home. When I called that to request "allergy free" room that morning, Donna listened to my request and said she'd make note of it. Within the hour she called me back to say she had my room, and it was ready!! Clean and comfortable! We will be back! UPDATE Oct 7 2026: We came back for another Mayo Clinic appt, so opted to stay at Baymont again. They are an awesome staff. Michellene was our Front Desk person on this trip and went above and beyond, even calling us back to confirm our room choice. The roo. Was ready when we arrived, smooth check in, and clean comfortable room! Thank you! Their staff is so courteous and respectful. I observed them helping senior lady that was traveling alone and was having a moment. Great care. I had one minor issue that had to be reported to maintenance. They responded immediately and I believe it was Manday (?). He did a great job. He's always staying busy cleaning or fixing...Great job!! Thank you and I hope to see you again!

I did a one night stay at this hotel when moving my daughter. The location is pretty good and the staff is great. My room was clean, but pretty rundown. The 15 year old TV was small and had the cable basics, but half of the channels were "fuzzy". The breakfast was a nice touch, but not great. It was decent for a 2-star. But not a good value. if you're staying for more than one night or getting a good night's rest is a priority, you should consider paying a few more dollars to stay elsewhere. Pros: Decent location Soft water Good staff Pretty clean Snappy wifi Cons: Disappointing breakfast Not the best value Trampoline-like bed and awful pillows TV was small, old, and had spotty reception.

Over all my stay was fair. Nothing particularly great about the place. Nothing particularly bad about the place. There was a slight musty kind of smell to the room and the sink basin was also cracked. Check in and check out was very easy. I liked that the doors to getting inside. Were only accessible by guest key card after a certain hours giving a sense of security at night. I would say the value for the money was fair.

Overall this was a great place to stay! The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly also. The only problem is that the breakfast was very minimal, even for continental style. So you would probably want to go elsewhere to get a good breakfast. I would definitely stay here again but just factor in that we have to go to a restaurant to eat breakfast.
