Baymont by Wyndham Jacksonville Orange Park

The area around the hotel is pretty sketchy and there are some language barriers with some staff but the husband and wife maid staff were great we talked with them for about 5 to 10 min each day they brought fresh towels changed bed sheets vacuumed all daily for us maintenance is run by one guy named Jesus, poor guy is understaffed and overworked when I talked with him he was in-between doing g laundry and fixing items daily the property needs help and understanding they are doing a great job to try and rebuild the community in and around the area pool was clean if you get a chance please patronize these people. The only way to make it better!

Room was pretty worn out. Fairly sketchy area. If you are a guy looking for low cost room for a night is okay. Not suitable for family.

My stay at Baymont by Wyndham Jacksonville Orange Park was pleasant overall. The location is very convenient, with easy access to nearby shops and stores, which made grabbing essentials simple and stress-free. The room was comfortable and served its purpose well for a short stay. There were a couple of maintenance issues that should be addressed, including a bathroom fan that wasn’t working and was hanging from the ceiling, along with a few small flying critters coming from the bathroom sink area. It’s not a 5-star hotel, but for the price and convenience, the stay was decent and manageable

We will probably not stay there again. The light socket only half worked on the bottom. We could not use the top half. We had no trash can to throw our garbage away. We did bring this up to the lobby and the housekeeping brought our trash can from the bathroom to use in the sleeping area. Then there was not a trash can in the bathroom. We had to use bags from the store to throw trash away and leave it on the table. We could have brought the trash can from the bathroom to the sleeping area but to me that is not sanitary. I could say more but I am going to leave it at this.
