Baymont by Wyndham Jacksonville Airport

I almost never write negative reviews. But I'm writing this in hopes it saves someone else from making the mistake to stay here, or helps management make some improvements. The floor in my room was absolutely gross. Walking around in socks for a couple minutes they were dark brown on the bottom. Walking barefoot to the bathroom at night you could feel the grease. I ended up buying mop pads to clean it myself which you can see all of them in the picture and how dirty they are. There were only two large towels in the room so I used one to step on out of the shower. That was immediately filthy from being on the floor. So I went to the front desk to ask for a towel. They said they would send it to my room. That never happened. Over the next two days I asked 5 times at the front desk and each time they apologized and said someone will definitely bring a towel. The last time the woman at the front desk was talking loudly to her friend on a cell phone (on speaker). She acted very annoyed that I was bothering her during her conversation. She just kept saying to go to "this building" to find the laundry room. So I gave up and just went to Marshalls to buy my own towel. The sheets in the room initially look like they have a lot of spills on them, but really they are just areas where the fabric is extremely thin. Not a huge deal but not a good look. Recommendations for management, invest in new linens and towels. Don't make towels a scarcity that are impossible to get. Have the housecleaners all clean the floors when turning over a room and not just sweep. Also either hire more house cleaners or raise their wage, if they are needing to do more work. Lastly, I recognize that this is a very budget motel. The one star is comparing it to other budget motels. I stay in many driving across the country and this is the worst one I have stayed at.

I stayed at this July 18-19, 2026. Upon checking in, the front desk receptionist began arguing with me when tried to explain that they never asked for deposit up front. I leave there and head to my room and there four police officers sitting there. I immediately think, "Oh no"! Come to find out someone died of an overdose( I'll just say allegedly). Made it to my room and it had no washcloths and limited channels on the tv. I do not feel the lighting is good in these rooms on purpose. On the surface the room looked clean until we got ready to go to bed the comforters and sheets were dirty and disgusting. It was dirt and dust on the floor behind the beds. Just a complete dump!!! People are up all night arguing, talking loud, beating on other people's doors. Just a horrible experience! Never! I repeat Never stay at Baymont by Wyndham in Jacksonville, Fl. by the airport. It's a complete waste of money!

Spent 3 nights here. Breakfast was amazing. Room was excellent. Staff very courteous and helpful. For the price couldn’t ask for much more. Will definitely book here again.

Clean, convenient and quiet. No drug deals or people loitering all times of the night like most Jacksonville roadside hotels. Black out curtains, easy check in. The grounds were up-kept and clean. Bathroom was clean and rooms were up to date.
