Bayfront Westcott House Bed and Breakfast

It has been a long time since I’ve been truly blown away by the service at a hotel, but this place delivered top-tier hospitality at its absolute best! We rode our bikes from Daytona Beach Shores to St. Augustine and arrived just in time for happy hour... snacks and drinks were the perfect way to celebrate completing our ride. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail and level of service were exceptional. And after a long day on the bikes, the jacuzzi in our room was exactly what we needed! The location couldn’t have been better, either! The beautiful water view right in front of us and the historic district just steps behind us. Everything about the experience felt thoughtful, welcoming, and special. 👏 Applause for a job very well done! This is what true hospitality is all about, and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bayfront Wescott House Bed & Breakfast! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our room was unique, comfortable, and full of character. Everything worked perfectly, and it was obvious the property is well cared for. One of the highlights was the homemade peanut butter cookies—they were absolutely amazing and a treat we looked forward to! The only small downside was that the parking is a little bit of a walk, but it was well worth it for such a great experience. If you’re looking for a charming place to stay with outstanding hospitality in St. Augustine, I highly recommend the Wescott House Bed & Breakfast. We can’t wait to come back

We had an exceptional experience! It was our first time visiting St Augustine and we will definitely be back. We stayed in the Minorcan room. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets are amazing. The room was spacious. The tub is lovely and the water pressure in the shower is very good. However, what made the experience special is the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! And the food, OMG, absolutely delicious! The chef makes really great breakfasts and puts out a fabulous happy hour spread that includes things like a charcuterie board, baked Brie with raspberries, roasted Brussels sprouts, assorted salads, hummus, and more. And for dessert home made brownies and the most delicious peanut butter cookies you’ve ever had. We loved our stay! Thank you so much for making it a perfect vacation getaway!

I can’t say enough great things about our stay at the Bayfront Westcott! From check-in to departure, every moment was wonderful. This was our first visit to St. Augustine, and the location of the B&B is unbeatable: beautiful water views and an easy walk to everything in town. We stayed in Alison’s Loft on the top floor, and it truly felt like home during our three-day visit! The room is spacious and well-appointed, with a very comfortable king-size bed and a large walk-in shower. One note: it was not an issue for us, but this room does require climbing a narrow, steep staircase, so it may not be ideal for those with mobility concerns or for taller guests. Breakfast is served daily from 8–10 a.m. and was consistently delicious. The afternoon social hour was a standout, offering beer, wine, cheeses, dips, and light bites from 5:00–6:30 p.m. It was a great opportunity to meet other guests, and we had some wonderful conversations. There are also peanut butter cookies and brownies available throughout the day, so definitely don’t skip those! The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. This may have been our first visit to St. Augustine, but it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to returning for another stay at the Bayfront Westcott in the future!
