Really pleased that we chose to stay here during our visit to St Augustine. Staff were lovely, good parking (free), fabulous location (easy walk to key locations and the trolley stop is literally 2 minutes away from the entrance). Small, quiet and secure. Outside, the pool is small but clean. The open seating area is a really nice touch. Loved sitting in the swinging seats looking out to the bay. Good value for money overall. Breakfast was very nice, just what you need to start the day. Help yourself buffet with both hot and cold options. The bakery goods were delicious. I loved the fridge of water that you could help yourself too at any time, as well as the daily fresh cookies. Our room was a little small but fine for two nights. It was incredibly clean - I think the cleanest place we've stayed. I am incredibly fussy and this exceeded my expectations. The bed was comfy with nice sheets. The room is dated in terms of the decor but I feel it is inn-keeping (😏) with the hotel's age! I liked it, it was quaint. I absolutely would stay here again! A few extra tips... Trolley tour tickets are cheaper online. The boat tour opposite the hotel is fab - really nice, relaxing and we saw dolphins. Hyppo ice pops on George Street - lush! The Conch restaurant is lovely.
Usually don't do the motor inn style, but really glad we did this one. Great location if you are willing to walk, everything is very close and they have a free parking lot for guests. Rooms were very clean, nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. We will definitely return.
Stayed here with 3 friends. All of us were bit by bedbugs and saw evidence of them on the sheets the next morning. Called and they said there were none when all of us had itchy bites that were def from there and stayed for days. When I looked back at reviews I saw others about bed bugs. Tried to look past the smell of the lobby and the room that smelt old and like moth balls. Contacted management and never heard back. Will not stay here again. Wouldn’t recommend spend a little more and get a better place since it’s expensive for what it is here anyway. Photos attached of bites and sheets
Such a great find. Service was great, rooms were small but very clean. Plenty of room for a few days stay. Location is so good and so easy to walk to all your favorite places. Beautiful views.
Spent 3 night's in st Augustine at the Bayfront inn. Hotel is in an excellent position for your stay with the bonus of on site parking. The staff at desk were pleasant and helpful, our room was a good size not massive but big enough and reasonabley we'll equipped. Some traffic noise during the day but come the evening was fine. Having a outdoor poor and balcony sitting area was a nice plus to the hotel as well. On the slight negative the net curtains had tears in them so let the overall appearance down a little, The breakfast was good but not a big selection. The worst thing for me was all served with plastic and paper knives forks and plates. ( in this day and age should be doing more for the environment and use conventional crockery and cutlery) At 5pm they serve ham cheese and biscuits which is a nice touch.
