I want to thank you the Barnabas Center for everything you do and stand for. They recently helped us with our electricity bill. After I made a payment they shut us off and Barnabas came in and saved the day. The process is flawless and SO easy to do. Special shout out to Vickie, who runs the front desk, and Joyce, who did all of this from home. I REALLY appreciate you for being there for us ❤️ 💕 💛 💓 🙏
This is a great place to give donations or to do some volunteer work, or to do some thrift shopping. I had a 20 inch flatscreen TV I just couldn't get rid of. It worked just fine, it worked well with the Roku, and I had the Roku attachment and the remote controls. I just couldn't get rid of it. Goodwill wouldn't take it, the pawnshop wouldn't take it, so I was really happy when Barnabas Center agreed to take it. They also have a food bank so this is a great place to drop off dry goods. We had a grocery store brand raisin bran that nobody really liked to eat in my family. I was happy to have a place to drop it off as I can't stand throwing away food. My husband has worked in this food pantry helping to sort out the foods that were dropped off and to make bags of food for people to pick up. We went to one of their fundraising lunches called empty bowls. It seems like a great charity that we can help make sure that everybody on the island can eat nobody goes hungry.
Pleasant young men helped unload my donation. Very efficient and quick. Note that Google maps sends you to the foodbank west of 14th. The household donations are on the northeast side of Jasmine & 14th street and drop off is on the east side of the building.
RUDE RUDE RUDE.... DONT DONATE HERE they dont care. Had some clothes to donate. Pulled up to donation area and the men were very rude and shouted were closed. It was only 130pm. I said well your still here can't you just accept my bag. No! I told him first and last time I'll ever try to donate to this charity. He didn't care. Drove round the corner to the Humane Society who were not only open but were very pleased to accept my donation. So recommendation to you all donate to Humane Society .
Had constant problems since day one I'm trying to get ahold of management now I hope they see this I am trying to fix a problem we've had multiple times that I have personally sought to fix. The receptionist is very rude hung up on me and it's refusing to answer my calls Do not recommend to anyone at all have a nice day
