OMG, the lamb burger is out of this world! This tops turkey, black bean, or impossible burgers. It's a mouth full of flavor. They are dog friendly and have a pup plate that my service dog heartily approved of chicken or beef. My mixed drink was perfectly made. We enjoyed a nice leisurely walk to the pub. If I lived here I would visit weekly. It was very welcoming and relaxing. They're open late so no need to rush out for dinner. I purposely went late to avoid crowds. Absolutely, the best restaurant here!
Bailey - our server was super personable. Our first time here we ordered the Cran-brie bacon toastie and the lamb shank. They were both fantastic. Super flavorful. The lamb shank fell off the bone. The bartender made a perfect black and tan and an old-fashioned. We came back again before leaving town. Ordered the pretzels (delicious), the Mac and cheese and a burger. You won't be disappointed!!
I came here last night after someone recommended it. I ordered a bottle of wine, and it had to be the cheapest wine I’ve ever had—it was even a screw-top bottle. The double cheeseburger was absolutely terrible. It was overcooked, dry, and tasted like two pieces of leather. I’ve honestly had better burgers in much poorer places. I know it’s a bar, but making a decent smash burger shouldn’t be that difficult. I couldn’t even finish it. The Brussels sprouts were undercooked and disappointing as well. The only bright spot was the bartender, who was friendly and provided great service. The prices weren’t bad, but unfortunately the food was. I won’t be coming back
Barley Republic in St Augustine was a great experience from start to finish. My wife and I shared a small plate of fish and chips and it was absolutely delightful. The fish was cooked perfectly with a light crisp batter and flaky tender meat inside. The flavor was spot on and not greasy at all which is hard to get right. The portion size was ideal for sharing and the presentation was simple but inviting. It felt like comfort food done correctly without trying too hard. Every bite was consistent and satisfying. Overall the food quality really stood out and made us glad we stopped in. We would absolutely order the fish and chips again and would recommend Barley Republic to anyone looking for a solid meal in St Augustine. PLUS I HAD A PERFECTLY "PORN" BLACK AND TAN
Excellent food! My wife and I came here for our honeymoon a few years ago and made it a point to stop here again on a recent road trip. I highly recommend the Mac and Cheese bowl but everything we tried was delicious.
