The customer service is disappointing. If you’re running slightly late for a sick visit, even after driving a significant distance, staff will threaten to “put it in your file” as if you’re a child being disciplined rather than a parent bringing in a sick baby. More concerning was the medical guidance we received. When our daughter was having a severe reaction to the third formula she was on, we were given advice to “put her in her car seat propped up on the dryer” that made us uncomfortable and did not seem like proper medical advice. After doing our own research and switching to a milk-free formula, her symptoms resolved. (Turned out she has a severe cow milk allergy.) Later, we brought her in for a persistent rash and were told it was eczema. We were instructed to change all of our soaps and detergents. We followed every recommendation, yet the rash continued. Eventually, we discovered on our own that she was actually having an allergic reaction to the reflux medication that had been prescribed. Once again, we ended up identifying the cause ourselves. The first few months of parenthood are challenging enough. Looking back, they would have been much less stressful had we chosen a different pediatrician. We saw 3 of the doctors at this practice. We wanted a medical team that listened, investigated concerns thoroughly, and partnered with us in caring for our child. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. If you’re looking for a place where they treat your child like they are just a number, this is the place for you. If not, do your research and find another practice. We did and we are so thankful!

Scheduling is easy with them. We see Dr. Frank for our toddler, he is great, very attentive. We are expecting our second child soon and will choose him again. Highly recommended practice.

Easy scheduling. Kind and professional staff. Dr Black answered our questions and is currently treating my child. My child is a new patient and so far the experience has been positive.

I've been so disappointed with the care and service at Mandarin Pediatrics. My husband and I had multiple issues with them not being able to see our kids the same day they are sick and had to go elsewhere. The front desk staff have made many mistakes including giving us another child's shot records, providing false information on their contact methods (we were told they could only do post card appointment reminders, which is so 90's), we were told we were behind on shots when we were not and we provided proof, etc. One time our son had 103.9 fever that would not go down and it was the weekend. We called it in and never received a return call. Don't go to this pediatricians office. They seem to have too many patients that they can care for and it's not worth your child's health and well being.
