I have been going to Baptist Primary Care, Fleming Island for over 6 years, The entire office is very professional, friendly and respectful. Appointments are easy to get, especially when urgent. Highly recommend this Health provider.

Great office, just felt the need to share that it has been over a year since I have been to this office because Dr. Tran was so unprofessional and odd that I didn’t want to go back even to see somebody else. My visit with Dr. Tran consisted of me having an almost 20 minute long conversation about random medical history facts and how if I was in the old days I would have been in an insane asylum for needing antidepressants, mind you I just came in to approve a refill and I guess do a checkup because he was my new doctor at the time. He proceeded to talk about my weight which is fine but went on to say that Americans go to buffets too often and that I should not have kids and to become a nurse because I can make big money (I never asked). I was so uncomfortable that I still think about it to this day.

Every single person I interacted with at this office was so sweet and kind! The wait was basically nonexistent and Dr. Stevenson listened to and addressed every concern I had and didn't rush me at all! I've felt rushed and like a burden in the past with doctors at other offices, so Dr. Stevenson was a breath of fresh air! Highly recommend this practice!

Please do not go to Dr. Tran! My whole experience with him was SO distasteful. I booked a new patient visit because I had some concerns I wanted to address and the lady who scheduled me was able to get me in for a 1:00 apt. As I checked in the nurse comes in and tells me he may be awhile so if you have to leave just let me know. I told her I do have to leave to get my son from school at 2:40 so she said she will let Dr. Tran know. After an hour of waiting I hear the lady tell him I have to leave soon to get my son and I hear him in the next room over say “well, why would you make an appointment at this time” sarcastically. Mind you…. I’ve been waiting for an hour for him to come in. Extremely rude! Then he comes in and instantly tells me “So I hear you have to go. Do you just want to reschedule?” After I already paid my co pay and waited an hour this is what he tells me?! I was already so upset from hearing what he said to the nurse to now hearing this?! I was so confused why he would even ask me to reschedule if he’s now ready to see me… so then I go on to tell him the main reason why I came in and he tells me all women deal with this… and the best way to not have this issue is to stop menstruating!! I was speechless!!! This is your advice?! So many other things he could of suggest but no he wanted me to just get an IUD inserted to stop menstruating! Unbelievable! And so insulting given the fact that he didn’t ask if I planned on having kids or not. Please do not go to this man! He should not be a doctor. The place is very clean and the front desk ladies were very friendly and the nurses I just think HE was awful!
