If I could leave a 0 , I absolutely would. I scheduled an appointment for immediate swelling in my left leg and ankles. I do not have any underlying medical issues nor do I visit the doctor often. I had a visit with Nurse Practitioner Robeya. I advised the swelling started in my knee and spread to my ankles. I advised her that I had no known injuries and that I had been taking ibuprofen and it hadn’t been working and I thought it had even made it worse. She scheduled me to visit another Baptist for a sonogram and prescribed me the 800 mg prescription. The other Baptist location stated I had a cyst behind my knee but DID NOT state there was blood in the cyst. The next day, I received a phone call from the primary care Baptist stating to stop taking the ibuprofen and resort to Tylenol as there was blood in the cyst. I went to St. Vincent’s which an MRI was completed and they advised, the cyst not only had blood in it but it actually burst and that’s what caused the ankles to swell. They were also able to find the cause! Baptist did not. Taking the ibuprofen put me in worse condition. This could have been tremendously worse if I had of not went to St.Vincents. They stated they should have prescribed Prednisone or Cortisone instead. I will never visit this location ever again. Please make St. Vincent’s primary care your first ultimate source.
Great doctors, especially Dr Valenzuela. He genuinely cares about his patients and does everything he can to help them. I would recommend him to anyone. The day he retires will be a sad day.
I was not happy with my experience at all. I will be changing my primary care. I saw Dana Preston and she did not listen to anything I had to say. She brushed me off and just gave me a referral. It was as if she didn’t care. I felt like I had to sit there an advocate for myself and do my own research. These providers just want to get you in and out and aren’t given the care that’s truly needed. The times have truly changed.
The personal touch is gone. called to make an appointment for my family doctor that I've been using since I was 11 years old? They won't make an appointment with me, won't even check with the doctor. I've got cash and insurance. Strange. Guess I'm not worth it. *Update- After speaking with the social media person. I wish I could leave a -5 stars. Sorry Dr. Nadal, I wish I could come see you. It used to be about family, now it's just about policy.
I hate to give a 2 star review because Dr. Valenzuela and his back office staff are absolutely amazing my daughter and son love seeing him which is the only reason we keep coming back. However the front office staff is horrible, they are rude both on the phone and in person. Have tried speaking to the office manager about it but had to "leave a message" and never got a return call. If it wasn't for t
