I want to recognize RN Valerie and nurse practitioner Jessica Haypt in the emergency department. I honestly don’t remember much from that night because of the condition I was in, but I remember their voices and how kind and sympathetic they were. More importantly, I remember feeling safe. Even when I wasn’t fully aware of everything happening around me, I knew I was being treated with care and that I was in good hands. That feeling of comfort stayed with me afterward, and I’m extremely grateful to both of them. Every experience my family and I have had with Baptist Medical Center Nassau has been fantastic, and this visit was no exception.
the only reason i’m ok with having 1 star is for the nurse that did apologize to us on the way out. the blonde older RN working on 10/5/2025 was EXTREMELY rude. slinging doors open, speaking rudely to my mother and i. getting angry i asked for some water because i couldn’t physically use the bathroom yet. i have serious health issues at the moment and was having great chest pains and need help. i didn’t feel welcome or comfortable for her to even TOUCH me she was so rude. she genuinely needs to be fired and is 100% in the wrong line of work. this was such a sorry excuse of a er visit and will never be back to this ER. Just a sorry excuse of a ER visit.
Brought my elderly mother in to er at 1:30pm on a Tuesday. Without waiting she was brought into a room. Nurse came in drew blood, saw the hospitalist who was very thorough and explained she will need to be admitted for more test. She has chest pain and difficulty breathing from a mitral valve problem. After shift change, we had a very young nurse who took blood but had the turnicut soo tight it really hurt my Mom. The RN couldn’t care less. Later had to go find her to ask when a room was available in hospital. She was just soo rude to me and my Mom. At 6:30pm my Mom still wasn’t moved to her room. No caring or good communication at this ER!!
Went in for a kidney stone and received 1st class treatment, everyone provided exceptional care.
AMAZING!!! My husband and I travel frequently. Now and then a health situation happens. This facility is hands down the best facility we have ever been to from start to finish: good signage and directions to get where you are going, security visible, friendly and helpful, reception and admissions polite and efficient, nursing and tech support, kind, empathetic, knowledgeable and efficient. Then….what to say about Dr Chadwick?!?? Astounding!!! Everything you hope an urgent care provider to be: pleasant, informative, thorough, professional, knowledgeable….I could go on and on.
