While I didn't come to BMC South under the happiest of circumstances, I can only say the nurses and the supporting staff here are truly caring and wonderful. They made my Dad's transition into hospice as comfortable as possible. I am sure it can be a very difficult job, but Betsey was my Dad's favorite ICU nurse and everyone from Hospice was very kind. Thanks to all for helping him.
The people are great, but they are as slow as they come. It took more than 24 hours to read my MRI results, and after the doctor came in, it took them more than two hours to check me out. You would think they are run by the government, not privately. Crazy slow and for no reason half the hospital was empty.
It’s February 24, 2023, My wife and I arrived at the ER ( Old St. Augustine Road) location and it has been almost approximately 4 hours and are still waiting to be seen. No one should have to wait this long when one is not feeling well with sharp abdominal pains. We are still waiting to be called.
