Baker Constructors has been working on Veterans Parkway for over 2 years, with no end in sight. Workers show up about every other month and work for a day or two. At the rate they are going they will NEVER finish.
Today I was driving down Collins road and a white Chevy pick with ladder rack followed me within a couple of feet tailgating a few minutes after 5:00 on Wednesday March 19, 2025. Then we got on 295 and Truck P4065 passed me when traffic on 295 service road was Running 15 miles per hour over the speed limit and cut me off where I had to hit my brakes to keep from hitting them. They started coming into my lane before their back bumper was passed my front bumper. We Rand with traffic down Collins, so neither of us could go anywhere. Intentionally cutting in front of a truck to force them to hit them or go into the lane to the left to hit that car. If I had not seen him coming over to my lane when his back wheels were even with my front I would not have had time to slam on my brakes to avoid the accident. You don’t drive with road rage when you have a company name across you drivers door.
A white Baker Contractors truck dangerously cut off at least 10 cars to make an illegal turn at Cheswick Oaks onto Argyle. This is a school zone and the line is at times longer. Baker Contractors decided they didn't want to wait and laws and safety of children don't matter. I hope the crossing guard reports this to the school and sheriff.
