My family has lived here for 2 to 3 months , and to our knowledge, we were one of the only white family in the community. That isn't my issue. My issue is with the way this property is managed. The office manager is frequently seen driving around the property long after office hours, sometimes spending extended periods of time in the neighborhood. I've also observed her stopping and speaking with various individuals around the complex when she is off the clock. This has raised concerns for me about professionalism and appropriate boundaries between management and residents. The property may look better than it did in the past, but appearances aren't everything. Residents care about safety, communication, maintenance, and professional management. It often feels like there are not enough staff members available for a property of this size, and many concerns seem to go unaddressed. I believe management should focus less on monitoring residents and more on improving services, responsiveness, and the overall living experience. People looking to move here should visit the property themselves and talk to current residents before making a decision.
Well,, ,,,,I am enjoying my place here at avenue 1601,I appreciate how the manger looks out for the people that lives here. She try her best to keep good tenants around. I have watch her go beyond and above what she should be doing,Miss Chanell I appreciate everything you doing, to keep this place looking great, thank you for riding through the parking lot in the evening, trying to keep your tenants safe, and making your tenants are okay, you deserve a appreciate day. I am praying that one day real soon, they will install cameras around this property, so Miss Chanell don't have to work so hard trying to keep drugs transactions, from taking place, and fighting taken place on the property. MISS CHANELL KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. YOU ARE AWESOME PROPERTY MANAGER.
I have had a wonderful experience living in this community, largely due to the dedication of our property manager. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure residents feel safe, valued, and heard. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine concern for the well-being of the community create an environment where people can feel comfortable calling this place home. It is clear that she takes great pride in maintaining a safe, peaceful, and welcoming atmosphere, and her efforts do not go unnoticed. I am truly grateful for the positive impact she has made on both the community and my overall living experience.

I’ve been living at Avenue 1601, and I just want to say that the property manager has been absolutely phenomenal. She stays on top of everything and truly cares about the residents and the community. Whenever there’s an issue, she handles it quickly and professionally. Even when things around the complex aren’t looking their best, she makes sure problems are addressed and resolved. She’s a true problem solver, very organized, and all about getting things done the right way. It’s refreshing to have someone who takes pride in their work and genuinely wants the community to be a great place to live. Avenue 1601 is fortunate to have her.
