Joseph the service advisor was great, he was fast and efficient, hustling. Overall service was great, I was in and out in a timely manner, my new truck had to be detailed and came out looking as it could be in a magazine.
Matt Pack was very nice and checked me in promptly even though I didn't have a Ford vehicle. My AutoNation BMW needed an oil change and although I was an hour early than my scheduled appointment, he still checked me in quickly. He was friendly and very informative. Also, almost every employee that I came across greeted me with a smile and had friendly faces. I am very happy with the service I received from this AutoNation dealership. You guys are awesome!
Requested dealership to find out why heater only worked intermittent and was told the diagnostic was $199.00, I ok'd the diagnostic and then was told that they recommended replacing Radiator. When I inquired if the heater control thermostat and heater relay worked I was informed that they did not know. Then I get charged $27.00 for "unlisted" materials. This charge was not even mentioned when I authorized the diagnostic. Lastly after paying the service bill of $244.00 I drive the car straight from the dealership and find out that my hood was not properly closed. I feel that this dealership hid charges before work commenced and then just did a cursory inspection and found a issue with the radiator and stopped doing any further diagnostics to test the rest of the AC/Heater system. I thought the diagnostic test would tell me exactly what was or was not working instead of a 1 line comment of "recommend" radiator replacement.
In a phone conversation, customer service manager conditioned a $500 refund on my providing a positive review—an improper and deceptive practice intended to mitigate the consequences of inadequate service. Refund was never processed. Despite my request to determine what was causing my motorhome to bottom out, AutoNation repaired my gas tank but failed to identify the cause of the damage. The motorhome bottomed out again after departing the service center, as evidenced by scratches to the newly installed gas tank. After arriving at my destination, a neighboring camper offered to inspect the rear suspension and immediately determined that the vehicle had air bags. A competent diagnostic assessment or adequate multipoint inspection (complimentary service) would have revealed this fact. Multiple emails and voicemails were required before Customer Service Manager would respond. Based on service manager stating labor rate of $240 per hour, I was overcharged $553. Five hours of labor should total $1,200; however, I was billed $1,753. The gas tank was shipped overnight, and the repair was finished by 12:55pm that day.
Thank you for the great service, Joseph did an excellent job. He made sure I got a great experience by asking relevant questions. Next time I would schedule my visit a bit earlier. I didn't realize it close to closing but I was well taken care of. Thank you Ford Orange Park and Joseph. See you on the next go round
