Excellent experience with Chuck. Kept us informed every step of the way while our boat was being built. Very easy to talk to and easy to get ahold of always responded to any questions in a timely manner. Highly recommend going tot see him when purchasing your next boat. I actually didn't purchase my initial boat with these guys, Atlantic Marine. I bought a 2025 (New- Excess Inventory) 252 Sportsman Open from a dealer down in Palm Bay, FL- Boat and Motor Superstore, for what I thought was a good deal, $165,000. When I checked out, they told me to call my area's dealer (I live in Jax) to verify that they'll service my boat, being that Sportsman is a "territorial" manufacturer. I got a hold of Chuck three days after that initial purchase, and told him what I was told. He agreed, he's not technically supposed to service it because I didnt purchase it via him/AM, but he would because it still was business for him. I was also randomly browsing his inventory at the same time. I randomly found a 2026 Open 252, but this one had autopilot, a plumbed head, and radar already installed on it, none of which was on my 2025; worst part was, the sticker price difference was "only" $10,000. I was mad. B&M basically robbed me. So we chatted, and I asked if he would throw in a trolling motor with full battery setup into the mix and absorb the price into the sticker, he agreed to. So instead of me coming out of pocket for accessories for my 2025 for the next 10 years, I traded up to a brand new 2026 fully loaded, and my insurance actually went down $50/m. An AmeriKing trailer for a Sportsman boat was also included in selling price, but that's a $13,000 trailer. The Road King I got with the 2025 turned out to be a hunk of junk from B&M, dodged a bullet there. I asked if we could get financing with VyStar (they're my bank anyway) and Chuck said sure (there were a few options.) Loan approved, 6.7% APR (roughly). The boat was in Port Orange, so they kept it there until the trolling motor install was complete, took about 2 weeks, no biggie. The boat arrived in St. Augustine on 4/29/26, and the process was easier and faster than buying a car. I will absolutely be buying my next Sportsman from Chuck (if he's still there by then) and AM in the next few years, either a 28, 30, or 32, or whatever the size sequence is. Highly recommended!

Thanks Chuck for helping us buy the new 247 Masters! More importantly, thank you for all the time you spent with us explaining and demonstrating all the functions of the boat and all of its electronics. That time was extremely important, giving us the confidence to comfortably enjoy our boat.
